HIV is not AIDS

HIVs (green) bud onto the surface of a lymphcyte
  • HIV -Human Immunodeficiency Virus- is a virus. It causes HIV infection and AIDS.
  • AIDS - Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome - is a condition in human body in which the immune system breaks down hence it is easier for other infections and cancers to pervade.
  • HIV buds onto the surface of lymphocyte (one type of white blood cells ie, T-cell, B-cell (boss of T-cell :D), Natural Killer. HIV attacks T-type of lymphocyte). Lymphocytes kill the unwanted visitors such as virus/bacteria in human body. Once affected by HIV the count of lymphocytes decrease and body becomes vulnerable to other viruses/bacteria.
    • Lower count lymphocyte compared to white blood cell is an indication of HIV invasion.
    • Higher count of lymphocyte is an indication of viral infection and too high is an indication of cancer because all the lymphocytes go toward fighting the infection/cancer cells.
    •
    •                                      A lymphocyte surrounded by red blood cells

Stored fat burn and calorie reduction in food intake

How many calories do I need to burn to lose a pound of weight?
You need to burn off 3,500 calories more than you take in to lose 1 pound. This translates into a reduction of 500 calories per day to lose 1 pound in a week, or 1000 calories per day to lose 2 pounds in a week. (1-2 pounds per week is generally considered to be a safe rate of weight loss.) This can be achieved by eating fewer calories or using up more through physical activity. A combination of both is best. See CDC's Balancing Calories web page(link is external) to learn more.

Health: foods that makes feel full

Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome

Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Syndrome
Treatment:
Background: While eating, it pains right jaw, as if pain is coming out of lower right portion of the right ear. I was in panic fancying that it is symptom of heart attach. Actually it is TMJ syndrome.

TMJ connects the lower jaw (mandible) to the skull (temporal bone) in front of the ear. Certain facial muscles control chewing. Problems in this area can cause head and neck pain, facial pain, ear pain, headaches, a jaw that is locked in position or difficult to open, problems biting, and jaw clicking or popping sounds when you bite.

Olive oil vs Canola oil

Ref
Olive oil and canola oil are both marketed as heart healthy oils for cooking and baking. However, while both oils are healthy, the two oils are very different. Olive oil is an oil that is made by pressing ripe olives and collecting their juices; canola oil is made from a hybrid of the rapeseed plant, and is a vegetable oil. Here's how olive oil and canola oil compare.
Olive Oil and Canola Oil are Manufactured Differently

Olive oil is made from olives, the fruit of the olive tree, and is considered a fruit oil. Ripe olives are crushed, then pressed; the collected juices constitute olive oil. Olive oil is generally pressed at cold temperatures to maintain the nutritional integrity of the oil; these types of olive oils are labeled "cold pressed."

You may have noticed that there are different kinds of olive oils available for sale. Extra virgin olive oil is collected from the first pressing of the olives, and contains the most nutrients. Virgin olive oil is collected from the second pressing. Olive juices collected from subsequent pressings are used to make light and pure olive oils; these oils may undergo extra processing.

Canola oil is manufactured at high temperatures, using a mechanical process that often involves toxic chemicals, like hexane. Canola oil is degummed, deodorized, bleached and further refined at high temperatures. These high temperatures can change the omega-3 content of the oil and can significantly raise the oil's concentrations of trans fatty acids and saturated fats.
Olive Oil Contains More Nutrients Than Canola Oil

All in all, olive oil is considered the healthier oil because of the nutrients it contains. Extra virgin olive oil contains antioxidants, polyphenols and omega-3 fatty acids with can promote cardiovascular health and cognitive function as well as boosting your immune system and protecting you from many types of cancer. Olive oil can even help prevent or reverse type 2 diabetes, since it helps your body produce adiponectin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels. Olive oil even has anti-inflammatory properties, and can be of immense benefit to those with inflammatory diseases like arthritis and osteoporosis.
Canola Oil is Good for Your Heart

While canola oil doesn't contain the many beneficial nutrients found in olive oil, it is good for your heart. Canola oil is generally low in saturated fats (read the label to make sure), and high in the omega-3 fatty acids and other monounsaturated fats that help to promote healthy cardiovascular function.
When to Choose Canola Oil Over Olive Oil

While olive oil is considered the healthier oil, it's sometimes appropriate to choose canola oil instead. Extra virgin and virgin olive oils retain much of the flavor of the olives from which they're pressed, so while they might make a tasty dip or dressing, they often aren't appropriate for cooking or baking. Since most types of olive oils are more expensive than canola oil, you might want to consider reserving olive oil for toppings and using canola oil for cooking and baking.

Alzheimer disease

Although the course of Alzheimer's disease is unique for every individual, there are many common symptoms.[4] The earliest observable symptoms are often mistakenly thought to be 'age-related' concerns, or manifestations of stress.[5] In the early stages, the most commonly recognised symptom is inability to acquire new memories, such as difficulty in recalling recently observed facts. When AD is suspected, the diagnosis is usually confirmed with behavioural assessments and cognitive tests, often followed by a brain scan if available.

As the disease advances, symptoms include confusion, irritability and aggression, mood swings, language breakdown, long-term memory loss, and the general withdrawal of the sufferer as their senses decline.[5][7] Gradually, bodily functions are lost, ultimately leading to death.[8] Individual prognosis is difficult to assess, as the duration of the disease varies. AD develops for an indeterminate period of time before becoming fully apparent, and it can progress undiagnosed for years. The mean life expectancy following diagnosis is approximately seven years.[9] Fewer than three percent of individuals live more than fourteen years after diagnosis.
