Aptitude for Ubuntu

There is fink or macport (for OSX) type of thing in Ubuntu. How come I did not know about that? It is called "aptitude".
Get aptitude and look for the library you want to install:
  • sudo apt-get install aptitude
  • aptitude search LIBRARY_YOU_WANT
