Rise of myopia, short-sightedness, was thought to be the result of genetic traits. Recent studies projects another view on the cause. Too much studies elongate the eyeball. Most often the students are not being exposed to enough sunlight. Sunlight provides dopamine, which balances out the elongation of eyeball.
