We submitted our work on "Drosophila" in a journal, Learning and Memory few days ago. It got rejected by saying that - there is not enough conceptual advance for the brief communication in the journal.
It feels bad. How long I have to wait, I do not know. Just feels bad. We will give it more tries on other journals on the pipeline - Fly, Plos-One - with enhancement of words that better communicates our idea.
